Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Slice cabbage into 6 steaks.
Whisk together vinegar and 1/4 cup maple syrup. Brush tops of steaks with mixture, reserving leftover mix.
Roast cabbage for 20-25 minutes until tender when pressed with a fork and are nice and roasted on top.
While cabbage is roasting, peel and dice apple and onion. Saute for 2-3 minutes in olive oil. Add turkey sausage to pan. Break into small crumbles and cook all the way through. Add cranberries, salt, and remaining sauce to pan plus 1 tbsp maple syrup. Stir to coat.
When cabbage is done, top with chutney and fresh cut basil if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
